The medium-sized discs (1" diameter) are the same size as those that come with the Abiding in Jesus Lifestyle Planner.
 
You could:
Archive past calendar and journal pages.
Use this as a separate notebook that can hold up to 150 sheets.
Keep additional blank refill pages in this spare notebook.  Take new pages out when you need them for your planner.
 
For reference:
Large Discs - 1 1/2" diameter - comfortably holds up to 180 sheets
Medium Discs - 1" diameter - comfortably holds up to 130 sheets
Small Discs - 1/4" diameter - comfortably holds up to 30 sheets
 
Discs are just as durable as regular 3-ring binders but much easier to use. No pinching your fingers—simply lift the page off to remove it, or press the paper's notches around the discs to insert the page.
 
Plastic covers are durable with a matt finish.
